What is special about milengua?
What sets us apart from other platforms or language schools is the close and personal support. Your language coach works with you like a personal trainer, gets to know you and your life situation, and quickly builds strong trust and confidence. This makes learning much easier, helps reduce language blocks, and supports you in finally speaking German fluently.
We are a relatively small network that works according to shared values, principles, and methods: professionalism, empathy, and strong commitment. We have known each other for many years, regularly exchange ideas, and work without any negative sense of competition. This also helps us build positive, respectful relationships with our learners.
It is important to us that the relationship between learners and trainers is harmonious and productive, and that you feel at home: safe, valued, and motivated.
How does an online lesson work?
Very simple:
Via video call with a shared document or screen.
We integrate software and technology according to your needs and strengths - as much as you want, but as little as necessary.
This makes it easy for children and people who are less comfortable with technology to take part in the lessons.
Is the material included?
Most of the learning materials are provided at no extra cost.
We use our own resources as well as authentic content from the web, such as articles, podcasts, and videos. We also include exercises, grammar, and a variety of tasks tailored to your language level and learning goals.
By arrangement, we also work with textbooks from reputable publishers - it is best to purchase these from your (local) bookstore or as a digital version directly from the provider. We will of course advise you!
How does milengua support you?
You are in close contact with your language trainer and can discuss all questions and topics in the lessons. The lessons are tailored to your learning pace, your learning goals, and your learning style. We often use the beginning of a class for conversation: How was your week? How are you? What's new? How well has learning gone? What questions do you have? This way, language practice and confidence grow - a productive basis for language learning!
For organisational or technical questions, Julia is always there for you – quickly, personally and straightforwardly via email or phone. No bots, no AI, no navigating through menus – just real, direct contact from person to person.
When does the course start and are the times flexible?
You can start anytime. After purchasing a lesson package of 10 or 20 lessons, which you can use within 100 or 200 days, you will receive a booking code. You can then schedule your sessions directly with your personal language trainer.
The cancellation policy is fair and clear: You can reserve, reschedule or cancel your appointment up to 12 hours in advance.
